Measuring the capacity of one plastic cup:
1. Fill in the plastic cup with tap water until it is full.
2. Pour the water from the plastic cup to the measuring cup.
3. Observe the water level in the measuring cup and read the capacity of the plastic cup.
Measuring the volume of a plastic cup.
1. Fill in the plastic cup approx 3/4 of it with water/
2. Pour the water from the plastic cup to the measuring cup.
3. Observe the water level in the measuring cup and read the volume of the plastic cup.

wow...u have a great activity in the class..heheheheh.. as far as i know an experiment like this will help much the students to understand more in math concept.......it makes me remember the 3 steps of math..
